What is the CHILI RIDE? May 19th, 2012
 The Chili ride is bike ride for the casual rider all the way up to the experienced cyclist.  Both the young and old will enjoy the Chili Ride as you can ride at your own pace and pick the mileage that best suits your abilities.   Routes are lightly traveled and hills are kept to a minimum.  You can race your way through the route or take a leisurely ride through the countryside enjoying the fresh spring air.

Routes – Courses available from 25 to 100 Miles
Scenic Ohio routes were scouted out by CCC riders to guarantee that they are lightly traveled. In addition, you won’t wear yourself out on hills because we’ve kept them to a minimum. We want your riding experience to be pleasurable, so we have made every effort to make it that way.

Support?
All routes are well marked and riders will receive a detailed route map.  Support vehicles will patrol the routes watching for riders with mechanical problems or other needs.  We also provide a phone number that you can call to report any problems.   Food stops with plenty of water, Gatorade, fruit and snacks will keep your energy up and restroom facilities are located at each stop.

Refreshments?
You bet! The CHILI is well known for great food and snacks. Entertaining rest stops will be on each route with refreshments to fuel your ride. Fresh water, Gatorade, fruit and snacks will be in plentiful supply for all. Restroom facilities are at all stops.

Times and Location – All Times are Eastern Day Light Savings Time!
All rides start at Goshen High School, 6707 Goshen Road, Goshen, OH 45122 with plenty of parking. School opens at 6:45am. Registration opens at 7:00am. Riders on the longer routes are encouraged to start in plenty of time to get back in time to enjoy the post ride Chili Feast (served 12 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.)  At 5:00 p.m. the event ends and the school is CLOSED. 

Register Early & On-Line
Planning for the Chili takes a lot of time and resources.  Your early registration allows us to purchase ample food, and assign volunteers to give you the best ride possible. Mailed in (paper) registrations are accepted for a few bucks more and are available HERE till May 14th.

Day of Ride Registration
You are welcome to come out on the day of the ride, but after ride meals will be available on a first come basis.   Register early and guarantee yourself a great ride at a great price with rider support, plenty of food and an (optional) after ride Cincinnati Style Chili feast!
